It’s Thursday. Is it Halloween yet? I came across these creepy animated photos earlier in the year and decided to hold on to them until now. I don’t have any background info on them but I really like the artwork and especially the creepy animation. I think they’re perfect for late October creepiness. It’s Wednesday. Anthony Alfano was born with Cerebral palsy and is confined to a wheelchair. He and his parents live in the Chicagoland area and have become well known for Anthony’s annual Halloween costume. The costumes are created by his mom & dad and often take months to build. The costumes are always over-the-top, highly creative, and most of all, make their son Anthony the star of the show.

This year was no exception with the theme being a Chicago favorite, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Anthony’s parents recreated the famous scene of all three characters cruising in the Ferrari, with Anthony playing the part of Cameron in his Detroit Red Wings jersey. It’s a lot of work to plan and construct these elaborate costumes every year, but they say that they do it to give their son Anthony a chance to shine. Pretty damn cool, if you ask me.
