It’s Thursday. I hope everyone had a good Christmas. The girlfriend and I slept in, ate breakfast while watching A Christmas Story (twice!), and went to my parent’s place for dinner and had a big-ass ham! There was also plenty of homemade peanut brittle, cookies, and pie. By the end of the night I felt a lot like the reindeer pictured on the right.

Cat story update: We found the cat’s owner! They saw a Facebook post that mentioned the lost cat and contacted us Christmas Eve. It turned out to be a lady in our neighborhood who accidentally let it out while working outside. She was very grateful because the cat needs thyroid medication, which it had gone without while missing for several days. We returned the cat to her very happy owner on Christmas day.
