November

It’s Monday. I spent Halloween over at my parent’s place handing out candy to all the Trick-or-Treaters. I wasn’t sure what to expect this year knowing some parents might not allow their kids to participate due to the coronavirus. It started out slow but soon the pace picked up and we were getting kids left & right. In the end I had counted 131 kids, which was surprisingly only a few short of last year. Not too shabby.

Once I was done, the girlfriend and I went for a spin to check out some Halloween decorations. I love seeing what people come up with and there were definitely more homes decorated than last year. Very cool stuff, too. I still love the 12′ skeleton that Home Depot was selling this year. We only saw two or three of those out in the wild but were in awe every time!

Well, now that Halloween is over and October is behind us, that means it must be November. And before we know it, Thanksgiving and Christmas. It’s going to be interesting to see how the holidays pan out during a pandemic. Like everything else this fucked-up year, we’ll see soon enough.
