It’s Monday. we made it down to Panama City Beach yesterday and got a place on the strip overlooking the beach. There are two wildfires currently burning in the area, but I haven’t seen them. I’m guessing the wind coming off the Gulf is blowing it east and away from us. The plan is to spend a couple days and then we’re off to Orlando for a few days. After that its further south to Punta Gorda.

But for now I’m looking forward to getting some sun and seafood!

It’s Saturday! We’ll be driving through Illinois today making stops along the way to see family. Illinois is a long flat boring state to drive through, so making a couple stops will help break it up. Otherwise it’s cornfields after cornfields with the occasionally soy bean field. And right now all the fields are still bare, so it’ll be even more boring and not a single palm tree in sight… yet!
