It’s Tuesday. One of my readers caught this C8 out on the streets in Delaware sporting a vanity plate. I thought it was pretty good but didn’t get the full effect until I read SP’s “friends” comment below!

It’s Monday. Well, the big game is over and even though it looked like it could go either way throughout the entire game, it was the Los Angles Rams who came out on top 23 – 20. The halftime show wasn’t bad, I liked Dr. Dre, Snoop, and Eminem. I’m sure Eminem is going to get shit for taking a knee Kaepernick-style, but whatever. Anyway, it was a damn good game.

With the Super Bowl now in the rearview mirror, that means the Daytona 500 is next Sunday! Actually, first there’s a pair of preseason races on Thursday night known as the Duels. The front row of the Daytona 500 is determined by qualifying time trials but the order of the remaining 36 cars is determined by their finishing positions in the Duel races. Time to start those engines, boys!

I’ve been watching a lot of the Olympics this past week. I mentioned before how much I like the Biathlon but some of my new favorites are Snowboard Cross and Skeleton. Skeleton is just insane—head first on a tiny sled at 80 MPH! And Snowboard Cross has been described as Nascar on snow. Four snowboarders race simultaneously down an obstacle course with a series of jumps, berms, turns and drops. No tricks or fancy stuff, just good downhill racing! If you haven’t had a chance to see either of those, I highly suggest checking them out.

Okay, it’s Valentine’s Day today so if you haven’t picked up something for your wife or girlfriend (or both?) you might want to get moving on that. The girlfriend and I will be going out for a swanky dinner tonight. We’ve been doing only take-out since the last Covid resurgence, so it’ll be a little weird actually dining in the restaurant but I’m looking forward to it.
