In the wild…

It’s Thursday. There’s a fair number of exotic vehicles roaming the streets of Chicago any given day. But to a much lesser extent out in the suburbs near me. Nevertheless, one of my reader’s managed to catch two expensive exotics out in the Chicago suburbs. He found this Bugatti Veyron parked outside the Country House in Batavia, IL. Then he caught this Bentley with a tacky paint job and wheels driving in Lombard, IL. The real crime here is that these pricy vehicles were out and about during a Chicago winter! Okay, maybe it’s not a crime but it’s certainly a sin!

Hey Keep, Hope your work week was good.  I’m surprised you’re not in FLA!! So, two strange sightings in the last three days. Spotted a Bugatti Veyron ( what is that, like $2M?) outside the Country House in Batavia. Who drives a Bugatti in our neck of the woods in the winter? Looks like the same one I sent you a pic of last summer (downtown Naperville). How many Black/Purple Bugattis are in the western burbs of Chicago? Then today I spotted this other classic. Bentley? (in Lombard). Imported from Tijuana? I got nothin’. Enjoy the rest of the weekend! -T

Beaver Sighting

It’s Tuesday. When I was a kid, probably around 4th grade, a friend of mine had an older brother who was a huge Kiss fan. He introduced me to their music and it totally blew my mind. I probably didn’t fully understand it at that age, but I knew one thing for certain—I absolutely loved it! It wasn’t long before I convinced my parents to get me my first Kiss record, Destroyer, which I still own to this day. After that I started building my collection by asking for Kiss albums for birthdays and Christmas. As I got older my record collection continued to grow. I started to expand my musical interests to include other hard rock bands like AC/DC, Ozzy, Led Zeppelin and others. But Kiss was the first and I still listen to them today.

And as for the beaver sighting, I couldn’t think of a more appropriate band to associate themselves with than Kiss!

Keep, Ran across this old ticket stub from a concert many moons ago. It was a helluva show! Beaver Productions rocked back in the day. -fortierjt1
