It’s Monday. Happy 4th to all of you out there! You know how this goes, be safe and don’t be mixing alcohol and fireworks today. You don’t want to be that guy who spends the 4th in the emergency room missing several fingers. Not fun.

It’s Sunday! According to Guinness World Records, the largest firework ever detonated was a 62-inch shell in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Check out the video to see it in action!

It’s Saturday! It’s hard to believe that this guy is still going after decades of drug and alcohol abuse, but at 73 years old the Ozzman still cometh! Ozzy Osbourne recently released the first single and title track to his new album, “Patient Number 9.” The full album is due to be released on September 9th and features contributions from Jeff Beck, Zakk Wylde, Eric Clapton, Mike McCready (PEARL JAM), Chad Smith (RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS), The late Taylor Hawkins (FOO FIGHTERS), Robert Trujillo (METALLICA), Duff McKagan (GUNS N’ ROSES), Chris Chaney (JANE’S ADDICTION) and Tony Iommi (BLACK SABBATH).

I started listening to Ozzy back in my teens when he was in Black Sabbath and then continued to follow throughout his solo career. These days I can only understand about every third word or so when he’s speaking, but when singing somehow he can still nail it!
