THE HORROR!

It’s Wednesday. Oh, the humanity! Canada, say it isn’t so! It was a ZR1! Dammit!

Rare Corvette found stripped of parts and dumped on dirt road outside Barrie, Ontario.

A bizarre discovery was made on a dirt road in Clearview Township, just outside of Barrie, Ont.

A resident, who didn’t wish to be identified, said he came across the shell of a Corvette, gutted and lying in the middle of the road draped in yellow police tape on Wednesday.

“We do have the odd old chair and couch thrown out here, but this is the first time I saw a car,” he said.

The luxury sports vehicle, stripped of its parts, was found on Sideroad 9/10 Sunnidale near Concession Road 2 in New Lowell.

Residents in the area believe it was dumped on the road sometime overnight.

Niagara police confirmed with CTV News the vehicle is a rare 2019 Chevy Corvette ZR1 convertible, believed to be only one of three such vehicles in all of Canada, reported stolen from a collector in Grimsby, Ont., on August 15.

“It has been secured for forensic examination,” Niagara police said in an email to CTV News. “We will be working with the OPP over the course of the ongoing investigation.”

Local resident Ashley Zemlanko said this is the not the first vehicle to be dumped in the area in the past month. “There was a white car, a shell of a car, just dropped off on the side of the road, and not too long before that, there was another one on the same road.”

As of now, it is unknown if there are any suspects in the investigation.

Spooky Season

It’s Tuesday. October has arrived and with it comes spooky season! To kick it off right, I’m featuring my favorite skeleton video.

Enjoy!

Mmmm…

It’s Monday. Okay, so Spooky Season doesn’t officially begin until tomorrow, but I couldn’t resist picking up a pumpkin over the weekend and gutting him for his seeds! One of the things I like most about this time of year is making some homemade pumpkin seeds. So last night I gutted Jack while watching Outrageous Pumpkins on the Food Network. After cleaning up the seeds, I popped my heavily salted seeds into the oven at 275 degrees for roughly 15 minutes. As you can see, they came out looking wonderfully toasted and damn tasty! These oughta last me about a week, so they’ll likely be the first of several batches.

I also caught the Bears game against the Rams and something amazing happened—they won! They were a mess in the first half, but they got it together in the second and pulled out a win 18-24.
