It’s Sunday! We had a great time down in Effingham for the MidAmerica Motorworks Corvette show. Thankfully the weather was good and there was plenty of Corvette goodness. I don’t know how many cars were there but I saw plates from Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, Colorado, Wisconsin, Ohio, Connecticut, Minnesota, Michigan, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oregon, and Kentucky. No Canadian representation this time. What gives, guys? Snowed in already?
I took an obscene amount of photos at the show. I’ll go through ’em and feature my favorites next week.
Well, I couldn’t help myself, I had to dig into my stash of candy corn. Technically it may be just a tad early, but I’ve already seen houses decorated for Halloween, so there.

Monday Again…
It’s Monday. Had a great time checking out thousands of Corvettes downstate on Saturday. Unfortunately the weather on Sunday was a wet mess. We had intermittent periods of heavy rain throughout the day, so I hung out indoors taking it easy while catching up on many hours of recorded Mecum Collector Car Auctions. Beer, snacks, and an endless parade of muscle cars is perfect for a rainy crappy day!
I got home Saturday night in time to catch the last segment of the Nascar race in Richmond. I had been listening on SiriusXM during our drive home but it’s so much more satisfying watching Jimmy Johnson lose on my big screen TV.
