Continued Amateur Goodness

It’s Friday! We had a bit of a heatwave yesterday when the temperature shot up to 60 degrees. Did some reading out in the sun, took the dog out for a walk, and just enjoyed being outside. For a little while it almost felt normal.

Saw the recent video of Governor Brian Kemp of Georgia saying he just learned that asymptomatic people can transmit COVID-19.  The CDC had issued guidelines on March 1 stating the COVID-19 could be spread by people who weren’t showing any symptoms and as early as two months ago, lead member of the White House coronavirus task force Dr. Anthony S. Fauci was talking about asymptomatic transmission—but according to Kemp, “we didn’t know that until the last 24 hours.” Yeah, and this guy is Governor.

Same goes with Florida’s Governor, Ron DeSantis.

Anyway, today I have another amateur photo from a reader who last week said, “being locked in isn’t all that bad when you have this to play with!” I can’t argue with that and I doubt anyone else would either. Enjoy the amateur photo along with Friday’s usual double babes & double jokes!

A Pretty Cool Idea: Makeway

It’s Wednesday. I found something weirdly fun. It’s called Makeway and it’s a modular, creative, unique super-puzzle game with magnetic parts that attach seamlessly to your fridge, whiteboard, locker, car, or anything metal. You create intricate Rube Goldberg style courses to maneuver a marble from one place to another using a variety of tracks, connectors, tricks, and tools. It’s currently in the crowdfunding stage at Kickstarter with a goal of raising $10,000. They easily exceeded that with pledges currently over $1.8 million! Interested in learning more? You can check out their Kickstarter page here.
