It’s Saturday! Had to pick up a few things yesterday at Home Depot in Phoenix before heading back home. While I was in the garden center checking out cactuses, I looked up and saw a not so gentle reminder that the pests out here need to be taken a bit more seriously than what we got in Illinois!
Instantly gave me a case of the heebie-jeebies!

It’s Friday! Had another nice day out here in Arizona. It was cooler but still warm in the sun. Our time here is coming to a close and I just wanted to thank all of those who took the time to write in with suggestions for places to visit or tasty places to eat. There were a lot and it only made me wish that we had another week or so to check ’em all out. I have a feeling we’ll be back out here again soon. It may sound nuts but I’d like to come back in the summer to feel some of that triple digit heat!
We had some great Mexican food sitting outside at the Salty Senorita yesterday afternoon. The tacos and margaritas went down so very nicely.
