It’s Sunday! And it’s done. I hope everyone had a decent Christmas. Mine was good but it was much smaller than usual. It was a little sad because there were several family members with Covid that couldn’t attend, so that changed things quite a bit. Still, we managed to have a good time and ate way too much!

Next up is another new year… 2022!

It’s Saturday! Merry Christmas everyone. Here in Illinois we’re having some very non-seasonal weather again with temperatures in the upper 50s and some rain. That means no white Christmas for us. The horrid white stuff is coming, for certain, just not today.

I hope everyone has a good Christmas. Spend it with family and friends if you can. With all the crap going on these days it feels good to slow down, relax, and take it easy for a while. Enjoy.

It’s Friday! Okay procrastinators, it’s Christmas Eve so the time is now to get out there and find that special something for everyone on your list. You wanted a challenge so get to it!

Our family usually gets together on Christmas Eve at my parent’s place but that’s not going to happen. My Mom is recovering from surgery and a nasty infection, so we decided it would be best not to have a bunch of people over while she’s still recovering. On my girlfriend’s side of the family there are a few with Covid, so that’s not going to happen either. It’ll be a good excuse to say home, make some hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps, snack on Christmas cookies, and kick back and watch some Christmas movies. A low-key holiday sounds fine with me.
