Goodness of the amateur kind

It’s Tuesday. I would’ve liked to feature all this amateur goodness back around the Memorial Day weekend when they arrived, but somehow I didn’t manage to fit them in. No worries, though, because they’re all right here and ready to go. Enjoy!

Pretty-Pretty-Pretty Good Weekend

It’s Monday. We had a damn toasty weekend with temperatures in the 90s and dab of humidity. The 90s are expected to continue through the week but the humidity starts increasing today. It’s definitely starting to feel like summer.

I spent Saturday afternoon hanging out with a buddy at a nearby bar on the Des Plains river. They recently renovated their deck that overlooks the river and marina. We had a table up front and in the shade where we enjoyed some drinks and all the boat traffic coming and going. It’s a great place to people-watch and check out a large variety of watercraft.

Sunday was nice as well so the girlfriend and I decided it was time to take the Vette out for it’s first spin of the summer. We had the top down, the wind in our hair, and the sun on our faces. Got home several hours later and I caught the Nascar race in Sonoma. Very good race that was dominated and won by Kyle Larson. Next up is the All-Star race in Texas!

Nope. Nope. Nope.

It’s Sunday! It’s called the Sky Pool and it’s 82 ft long and is suspended 10 floors up between two residential buildings. Located in the Nine Elms neighborhood in south-west London, it is said to be the largest acrylic pool structure in the world.

So, would you swim in it?
