It’s Monday. We had a bit of a heatwave in the Chicagoland area over the weekend. It was in the upper 40s on Saturday and into the 50s on Sunday! This isn’t typical for February around here. Where is the frigid temperatures and the horrid white stuff? I don’t give a damn!
Saturday afternoon a buddy and I caught the movie, M3GAN. The story goes, M3GAN was created by a young roboticist to be a child’s best friend and protector. The doll features a powerful new artificial intelligence that allows the doll to listen, watch, and learn while playing with a child. What could go wrong, right? As you might expect, something goes very wrong and M3GAN becomes just a tad too overprotective and downright sinister. It sounds a little cheesy but it works. Bottom line? We liked it!
And then there was the Superbowl. In what seemed to be an evenly matched game, congratz go out to the Kansas City Chiefs for the big win!
Now that the Superbowl is over it’s time to fire the engines, baby! Nascar has the two duel races on Thursday and then it’s the Daytona 500 on Sunday to kick off the 2023 season!
