It’s Monday. It’s that time of the year again, time to bust out a couple bags of Candy Corn, baby! I know some of you detest it, but I love the stuff and look forward to it every Fall. This is just the first two bags of what will likely be many more before Halloween!
Had a great weekend. I traveled down to Effingham, Illinois, on Saturday for the MidAmerica Motorworks big Corvette gathering. This was the first time that I’ve been down there since the pandemic, so it was really nice checking out all the Corvette goodness once again. I was out there all afternoon and took over 120 photos. I plan to pick out a few of my favorites and feature them sometime during this week.
On Sunday I went to the Joliet Municipal Airport for their annual Air & Car Show. The weather was beautiful so there were lots of planes in the air. I always like this show because you can get up close to all of the aircraft and even go up for a ride if you wanted. The car show is always impressive as well. I have over 100 photos and will feature those this week as well.
I’m going to get back to watching the Bears/Packers game. It’s just past halftime and it’s going as usual with the Bears getting their asses kicked. Gonna need another bag of Candy Corn.
