Custom Vette

It’s Wednesday. One of my Canadian readers caught this custom Corvette in the Muskoka region recently. It appears to have the front clip of an 81-82 Vette with an aftermarket L-88 hood, side pipes, headlights, wheels, and the emblem on the nose is from the C7. However, its biggest modification is the fact that it’s a convertible. Chevrolet dropped the convertible option for the Corvette in 1976 and  it didn’t return until sixteen years later in 1986.

One of the reasons I love Corvettes is personalization. There’s a huge number of aftermarket parts available that allow owners to customize their Vette any way they like. Keep it stock, go wild, or even something in the middle—it’s totally up to you.

Hi Keep, Saw this one in the Muskoka region over the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. I believe it has been restored/modified. -Peter
