The Collective Works of Jim Morrison

It’s Sunday! I’ve been a huge Doors fan since the early 90s and have collected a ton of Doors books, posters, albums, and CDs over the years. When Jim died in 1971 at the age of 27, he left behind boxes filled with poetry, journals, and handwritten lyrics. His sister, Anne Morrison Chewning, compiled these previously unpublished materials into a book, “The Collected Works of Jim Morrison” that is now available on Amazon. In the interview featured above, correspondent John Blackstone talks with Chewning and the two surviving members of The Doors—drummer John Densmore and guitarist Robby Krieger about Jim and his impact on music and writing.
