It’s Monday. We had a wet and chilly Mother’s Day here in Illinois. The girlfriend and I spent the afternoon with my mom over at her place. It was nice just hanging out and taking it easy with her. After that we went home and both of us warmed up with some hot soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. That was a perfect fit for a cold rainy day.
There wasn’t much else going on for us over the weekend. I did catch the last Nascar iRacing event at the virtual North Wilkesboro track and that was pretty cool. Next Sunday on May 17th Nascar will go back to the real thing at the Darlington Raceway in South Carolina! The stands will be empty but the racing will be real. I’m looking forward to that.
Amazon Prime video suggestion: If you like a good suspense-thriller movie, check out “I See You”. And on Netflix, the second season of “Dead To Me” was released. That’s definitely worth checking out.
