It’s Tuesday. It just occurred to me that I haven’t mentioned anything lately about our pup Abby and her recovery. You may remember that at only 5 months old she took an overly enthusiastic leap from the back of our couch and broke her back leg. That was back in December. After spending several months in a brace holding the broken bone together with pins, it was finally removed a couple weeks ago. The leg has healed well but she is still supposed to take it easy for another week while the pin holes close up. It hasn’t been easy keeping a 52 pound puppy from ripping around the house, but somehow we got through it.

Sadly, we couldn’t bring her with us down to Florida, so my sister is watching her and our cat Marilyn. We miss them both but know they’re both in good hands.
