What Happened?

It’s Monday. So what happened to Fall? Here in the Chicago suburbs we’ve already had our first significant snowfall and temperatures have been below normal since mid October. It just all switched too fast. Now it’s November and things really start to pick up as Thanksgiving approaches. After that, well, it’s full-on Christmas and the mayhem that goes along with it. Not looking forward to that.

Had a pretty good weekend. Went out to lunch with a buddy and caught the new Terminator movie. It’s called Terminator: Dark Fate. It takes place after the second film (Terminator 2: Judgement Day) and reunites Schwarzenegger and Hamilton. The pace is whiplash frantic and packed with almost relentless action. If you’re a fan of the first two movies, you’re going to love this.

My Sunday was totally lazy. I snacked on munchies all afternoon while watching the Bears game and then the Nascar race in Texas. The Bears were able to embarrass themselves once again as they took it in the ass from the Eagles. Seriously, it’s getting so bad that it’s not even worth discussing anymore. As for the race in Texas, it was a rough day for many but Harvick managed to come out on top for the win. Oh, another highlight was when Johnson led a few laps before wrecking himself—that made me laugh.
