It’s Sunday! Here in Illinois we get our share of tornadoes. Our last really bad one was back in 1990 when an F5 took out a large chunk of the nearby town of Plainfield. That was devastating but thankfully we’ve had nothing on that scale since. And then there’s Kansas. It seems like several tornadoes rip through Kansas on a weekly basis during the summer. Two or three on a Friday night and no one bats an eye. They’re crazy-dangerous but that doesn’t stop the storm chasers from trying to get as close as possible. And that’s exactly what happened back in May. These guys get about as close as you can possibly get without getting seriously injured or death.
