Topless!

It’s Saturday! The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette convertible ditches the ragtop in favor of a power retractable hardtop. Check it out in the video above!

Spooky Art

It’s Friday! The last big local outdoor car show of the season, the Fall Classic, is this weekend but the timing is really bad. A cold front moved in over night that dramatically changed our weather. We went from mild temperatures in the low 70s and sunny to rain, wind, and a high of only 51 degrees. Not exactly car show weather. Time to break out the winter clothing, bring in the plants, and get the Corvette into storage. I really hate this time of year.

While I hate the colder weather, I do love all things Halloween. I’m looking forward to roasting up some pumpkin seeds, carving a few pumpkins, watching some classic horror movies, checking out all the Halloween displays, and enjoying all that Halloween candy! Yep, make no mistake, I’m pretty much still a kid!

And speaking of Halloween stuff, I put together a gallery of spooky artwork to share with all of you today. I don’t remember where I got these over the summer but I knew I wanted to save them for this time of year. So, enjoy the gallery below and the double babes & double jokes… cuz it’s finally Friday!

Moto Goodness!

It’s Thursday. Sweet bike, right? It’s a Harley-Davidson 2006 Heritage Classic that has a few upgrades. It belongs to a friend who’s wife of 40 years decided it was time that he got back in the saddle. I don’t know about you guys, but I think that’s damn cool. Sadly here in Illinois the bike riding season has pretty much come to a close. That means into storage it goes to await the return of all things spring… only 143 days away… but who’s counting?

Hey, Bud. How’s everything going? Thought I’d check in with an update. I retired last year. A little earlier than expected. I’m loving it. Wish I’d done it 40 years ago.

My dearly beloved and I hit the 40 year mark this past June. I’ve done everything I could but I just can’t shake her. Celebrated with a week in Hawaii. Wow, was that expensive. Don’t go there.

The wife decided I should get back in the saddle again after about 30 years. She called it an anniversary/retirement gift but when I retired I went on her insurance which includes life insurance.

Wasn’t looking for a Harley-Davidson but when this 2006 Heritage Classic popped up I couldn’t resist. When the guy started pulling the cover off I saw it was Cubby blue. I glanced at the wife and she was wide eyed and smiling. I knew it would be mine. It’s near mint condition. The guy took excellent care of it. It has a couple of upgrades such as Vance and Hines exhaust pipes (they muffle nothing). Bigger grips, saddle bags, windshield storage, and it’s been dynotuned. I’m told that’s special. Could be. It sounds pretty sweet. -Kev
