It’s Wednesday. Some frigid cold weather moved in yesterday and dropped our temperatures into the teens. Thankfully I was able to work from home, so I didn’t have to go out into it. Can’t avoid it today, though. Might have to break out the flannel-lined jeans so my nuts don’t freeze.

A wax figure of Jimmy Kimmell was recently created to go on display at Madame Tussauds Hollywood. But before it went on display, he wanted to have some fun with it. In the clip featured today he did what just about anyone with a wax figure of themselves would do—use it to scare the crap out of people… especially cousin Micki.

It’s Monday. Well, I didn’t do any Christmas shopping over the weekend. I should have, but didn’t. Instead we went out and got a tree and started decorating. While the girlfriend was working on that one, I set up another tree (artificial) in my office that I call my car tree. I decorate it with various car ornaments that I’ve collected over the years. I have about fifteen Corvettes of various years, but I also have several generations of Batmobiles, the Delorean Time Machine, the Vacation Family Truckster, Mach 5, and the Bandit Trans-Am. I only got about half-way done but hope to finish it up tomorrow night.

It was another weekend without Nascar and Bears football. I’m ready for Speedweeks right now but it’s still two months away. Crap. 

We had a mild weekend but a blast of cold air is supposed to move in later tonight. So far I haven’t heard any mention of the horrid white stuff and I’d like to keep it that way.
