It’s Monday. Okay, so we had snow, freezing rain, normal rain, and high winds. And then the temperature took a dive into the single digits. It was the perfect weekend to stay indoors and be really lazy.
And that’s exactly what I did! On Saturday I flipped on Epix and Iron Man 2 was just starting. I hadn’t seen it in ages, so I settled in and watched it. Immediately after that Thor came on. I hadn’t seen that one in ages either, so I watched it. It was followed by Captain America, which is really good, so I watched it as well. As you might expect, Avengers was up next so I caught that as well. That pretty much killed the day, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I could’ve gone for another movie, but it was getting late and I was tired from all the non-activity.
My Sunday was very similar but instead of Marvel movies, I tossed on recent recordings of Mecum collector car auctions in Kissimmee, Florida. I had those on all afternoon and I loved every second. It’s a seemingly endless parade of automotive goodness that once you start watching is practically impossible to stop. I never really tried to stop, but if I had I’m sure it would’ve been tough.

Attack of the Horrid White Stuff
It’s Tuesday. Ack! Recently there was a rather nasty snowstorm that dumped 30 inches of the horrid white stuff on St. John’s, Newfoundland. As if that wasn’t enough, there were also winds gusts clocked at 81 mph. They called it “Snowmageddon” and it ended up setting a new record.
Featured today is a 24 hour video time-lapse of the storm in just 30 seconds.
And coincidentally, 30 seconds is all the time I would need to decide to move the hell out of St. John’s!
